See the tasks you took on

When a meeting is written up, Recordstead looks in its transcript for work you took on or were asked to do and lists it on Home under Your tasks. Each task shows the meeting, the words it came from and how long ago they were said, newest first. To see what has waited longest, click Newest First at the top of the card and choose Oldest First. The Summary Ready notification also says how many are yours.

A line counts as yours when it carries the name set in People under Your name. Tasks are written by AI, so check them against the quoted words.

  1. Open Home.
  2. In Your tasks, select the checkbox next to the task.

Your result: the task is done on Home and in its meeting's transcript. Tasks you finish today wait under a button at the end of the list; from tomorrow they stay only in the transcript. Clear the checkbox to reopen a task.

Click the task. The meeting opens in its Transcript tab, where the task sits under the line it came from, marked Your task. You can check it off there too.

Point at the task and click Remove where its age was, or right-click it and choose Remove. It leaves Home and the transcript and does not come back. Press ⌘Z to undo.

Open Meetings, right-click a meeting from before this feature or one whose transcript you corrected, and choose Find Tasks. Tasks you finished or removed stay as they are.

  • Check that Your name matches the name your lines carry in the transcript.
  • Tasks are found after each summary by the provider chosen in Settings › Summary, so a meeting kept as a transcript only gets none.
  • Home lists the tasks of the workspace that is open; switch workspaces to see the others.
  • If no meeting gave you work, there is nothing to list and the card says No open tasks.
