Move a meeting to another workspace

A meeting belongs to the workspace that was active when its recording started, so a call captured in the wrong one is a filing mistake rather than a lost meeting. Moving it is one command, and it can be undone while the message confirming it is still on screen.

Before it has been processed

While a recording is still waiting its turn, moving it costs nothing: no meeting has been written yet.

Go to Home.
On the processing card, open the menu on the waiting recording and choose Move to Workspace.
Pick the workspace it should be in.

The command is there only while the recording is waiting. Once processing starts it disappears, because by then the meeting has been written and its speakers compared against that workspace's saved voices. From then on you move the finished meeting instead.

After it has been processed

Go to Meetings.
Right-click the meeting, or open it and use its actions menu.
Choose Move to Workspace and pick the destination.

The menu lists every workspace except the one the meeting is already in, and does not appear at all when that leaves nothing to pick.

Move several at once

Select several meetings with ⌘-click or ⇧-click and Move to Workspace appears for the selection. It is the only command a multiple selection offers: there is deliberately no bulk export and no bulk delete.

What travels, and what stays behind

Speaker names and the summary are untouched. A move is a filing correction, not a re-run.
The record of who was recognized travels with the meeting.
Saved voices stay behind. What this meeting taught the voices in the workspace it leaves is dropped, and anyone whose only meeting there was this one stops being recognized in it. The meeting keeps its own speaker names either way.
Dictionary terms stay behind too. The corrections they already made are part of the transcript, and the transcript travels.

Because the speakers were reviewed somewhere else, the moved meeting asks to have them reviewed again where it lands.

When speaker recognition is switched on and the move would actually cost something, Recordstead asks first and names what: which meetings will want their speakers reviewed again, and who stops being recognized in the workspace they left. With recognition off, the meeting simply moves.

Undo it

The message that confirms the move carries Undo, and while it is on screen the move is completely reversible: nothing has been cleaned up yet, so undoing puts the saved voices back as well. Once the message goes, so does the chance.

If it will not move

A meeting still being processed cannot be moved:

"Weekly sync" is still being processed. Finish or cancel it first.

Let the job finish, or cancel it, and try again.

Undo can also be declined, if processing has claimed one of the meetings you moved in the meantime. The move then stands rather than being half undone.

Result

The meeting is in the destination workspace's list and gone from the one it left.
