Fix speakers who were merged or split

Open a meeting's actions menu and choose Edit speakers…. While a meeting is waiting for your first review, use that review window instead. The recording must still be available to play the samples you need for this task.

Two rows are one person

When Recordstead flags two similar voices, play both rows. Choose Same Person to merge them, or Different People to dismiss the suggestion. Recordstead does not merge voices automatically.

One row contains two people

1. On a row whose samples sound different, choose Samples Are from Different People…. The action appears only when the row has multiple samples.
2. Play each sample and mark it Speaker A, Speaker B or Not sure.
3. Assign at least one sample to each person, then click Separate into Two Speakers. Name the resulting rows.

On a finished meeting, click Save changes when you are done. The transcript uses the corrected speaker names. If a summary already exists, update it from the meeting's actions menu so it uses those names too.
